Concept and design
Every project starts with a clear idea. In this phase we analyze the design of the dress, its purpose, the type of garment you want to achieve and the technical requirements that must be fulfilled. Define the general lines, the silhouette, the details of construction and style, always taking into account the feasibility of the design and its proper execution in production. This first step is essential to lay a solid foundation on which to develop the rest of the process. A good initial approach allows you to optimize time, to avoid later errors and to ensure that the end result will respond faithfully to the original idea of the project.
Patronage
The pattern design is one of the key stages in the manufacture of a dress. From the design set, develop patterns that give shape to the garment, adjusting proportions, volumes and structures to achieve a balanced outcome and functional. A pattern well-crafted and guaranteed to be a good size, a correct fall of the tissue and facilitates the process of manufacture. In this phase, it pays special attention to technical accuracy, since it largely depends on the final quality of the dress and the coherence between all the units produced.
Court
Once defined the pattern, proceed to cut the pieces of fabric. This step requires accuracy and attention to detail, as any deviation may affect the assembly and finishing of the garment. The cut is made following the established patterns and taking into account the characteristics of the material, as the meaning of the thread, the elasticity or the fall of the fabric. The correct preparation and execution in this phase ensures that all the pieces fit together properly during the preparation.
Packing
The preparation is the phase in which the garment takes shape. It consists in the assembly of the various parts cut by stitching, incorporating linings, structures, and elements necessary to build the garment as defined in the design. During this process, it takes care of every union, stitching and detail, while maintaining a continuous control to ensure consistency and quality. Tailoring well-executed ensures not only a good visual finish, but also comfort, strength and durability in the end-use of the dress.
